In the morning we toured the dock. It was very cold, still with snow on the hills and mountains in the middle of June. The dock is still under construction, but will be ready when the product is ready to haul.
It was really cool to see the flag that Terrence's Uncle Neal, one of the founders of Savage, placed during his last trip to the Norway Harbor. What made it even more special was that he was with his son who had served a mission to Norway 20 something years before. I love when life circles around like that.
After the tour we took a bus out of Norway to fly from Narvik to Stockholm and then to Paris. You can just see the Eiffel Tower in the upper left corner. While awaiting our flight, a man's small dog let out a tiny mess on the floor of the airport. Terrence and I cringed each time someone approached, then rolled successfully over it. One woman stopped right on it and swept it up with her bag. All of the people in that huge airport, and ironically, guess who was sitting next to me on the plane while I took this picture? Yep, poop lady. She was a very nice, clean-freak-wash-in-hand-santizer-every-hour Parisian. Sometimes it's better not to know some things.
