Lake Powell

Our family took a trip to Lake Powell this summer with Grandma Susan, Uncle Ty, Aunt Jen, Cousins: Dalton, Sabrina, Dillon, Sierra, Aunt Cecily, and cousin Kolton.

Lake Powell is  one of the most beautiful places on earth.

A Wedding!

It was a hot summer day in Utah for an outdoor wedding, but it was beautiful!

Our nephew/cousin, Tanner and Stephanie tied the knot.  Aren't they such a cute couple!?!

Wildfire Summer

It has been a crazy, wildfire summer.  I looked out my window one day and everything was a creepy, eery, orange.  This is right from my front yard.  I'm so sad that so many of our beautiful mountains burned to a crisp this summer.

Cousin Time

We were lucky enough to get to spend some time with cousins while they were in town.

 We started our day at the dinosaur museum.  They were watching a paleontologist put together a model dinosaur in this shot.

 Having a little girl talk while the kids play.  My kids are older now and I kind of miss the "play group" settings with moms.  It was fun to be there and brought back good memories.

The next day we headed for the City Creek Mall.  That place is sweet!  

 I found the mannequins to be quite life-like...

We ended with a fountain show and a drink from the Nordstrom Bistro.  They validate parking!  Wooohooo!

A Family Wedding Dinner!

My nephew, Tanner and Stephanie were high school sweethearts.  They got married this summer!  The family was able to get together and go to a wedding dinner for them.  I love that these cousins are growing up and having experiences together.  Sometimes they totally crack me up!  

It was a really nice dinner and we are so happy for Tanner and Stephanie!
