Busy October!

I have had around 8 photoshoots for Savage Portraits (with 4 more scheduled), have been shopping like a maniac for my missionary daughter who only had about 2 days break from school, been away for a weekend, turned another year older, got a new calling in church, have been "putting out fires" for teenagers, went to the temple with Kacey for the first time, and yaddah, yaddah, yaddah... In an attempt to try to get caught up on this blog I'm going to do one BIG post instead of trying to do a write up for each activity.  So here goes.  Hang on!

Terrence's Birthday Dinner
Terrence's mom is one of the best cooks EVER!  She always does a Sunday dinner for her kids and their family for their birthday.  You can smell the yummy food cooking as you get to her doorstep and my kids love her wonderful meals.  Oh, so good!

This is what my family looks like getting ready for a picture.  It's a lot of work:)

Church and Neighbors
These are my new Beehive girls from church.  We were delivering cookies to the firemen for 9/11.
Our next door neighbor Shane got married and we went to his wedding.  Terrence and Kevin were his scoutmaster growing up.  Where on earth did the time go?

Kacey's Mission Call
This little letter came in the mail on Wednesday.  Terrence was in Sweden and Kacey couldn't come home from school until the weekend, so I had to look at it for days!  It was exciting just holding it.  I could hardly wait until she got home to open it!

She is getting all ready to Skype her roomates for the big opening.

When Kacey found out where she was going she Hi-fived her Aunt who had just gotten back from living there for a year or so.  So AWESOME!

She's off the Olongapo, Philippines Mission!!  Whoot Whoot!
Kinsey was so proud of her sister!
It was fun to share the experience with lots of nice friends and family.

Missionary Photo Shoot
I didn't know when we would be able to get Kacey's pictures for her mission plaque again, so we went up the Canyon and did a few.  They turned out really nice.  Such a fun and pretty girl!

Kids and Sports
Conner played for the varsity LaCrosse team this year.  It has been fun to watch as the kids get older and the games more intense.  He's getting really good and we love the Saturday games.

Kacey was asked to sub for the Homecoming game that another cheerleader wasnt' able to make, so we packed up and went to SUU for the day to watch her cheer.  So fun to get one last Hoorah!

Another Year Older
Terrence was going to be out of the country for my birthday so he did it up big before he left.  He took me for a weekend away in SLC.  We stayed at the Grand America, had a wonderful steak dinner, cruised around the city and he bought me some clothes and new boots.  The kids took me to dinner the night before my birthday and we spent some time together and they all gave me such thoughtful gifts.  Kinsey gave me clothes, Kacey brought me flowers and chocolate covered pretzels, Sam bought me nail polish (with her own money) and made me flower rings from her flower design class, Conner gave me some fancy chocolates and a homemade card, and Brooke drew me a picture of my Jeep and framed it.  They were awesome.  I had a lot of nice friends and family bring me cards, gifts, and food too!  It was an awesome week!  Thanks everyone!

Gardners Village
We go to Gardners Village every year for a Halloween activity.  We go to dinner and buy fudge.  Yumm!  Noticed Conner's face?!?  While we were on my birthday get away,  he face planted on some stairs while riding his BMX.  Nice.  At least this time he didn't knock any teeth out.

This was the funniest game EVER!  Everyone holds onto it and it shocks someone in the circle.  Such a guy game.  I took a pass.  Can you tell you got it in the above picture?

Kacey's Temple Day
Kacey came home for Fall break and we were able to take her through the Mt. Timpanogos Temple.  It was a wonderful day and I was so happy to be there with both of my wonderful daughters.  Kinsey went through this time last year.  October is a good month for us.

Girl Stuff
Brookie has been into dance.  She goes three days a week and even has a dance class at school.  She wanted me to take a picture of her cute little feet in these.  Love you Brooke!

Sam got asked to Homecoming this year a few days before the dance.  It's a good thing she has older sisters the same size so we can go to the closet a choose a dress.  I thought she looked beautiful and she had a wonderful time.

Phewwww!  Now it's time to get ready for Halloween!!!
