Colorado River p.m.

We had a barbecue lunch along the banks with hot chocolate (that spilled down Brooke's leg).  It was getting warmer...

So we went for the ice cream!

The second half was way mo better.  Conner got to be at the helm.  First time I saw him smile all day!!  Yeah Conner!

Then it was Sam's turn.  She did great!

Brooke had a go at it too.  Each oar weighed 15 lbs.  But she got us going down the river.

Ahhhh.  We made it through the class 1&2 rapids.  Next time- 4&5's!  It turned into a beautiful day.  Let's just say the second half was fabuloso!!

Tomorrow... Arches National Park

Moab

We spent spring break in Moab.  We've lived in Utah all these years and hadn't been, so this vacation we made it happen.
This is where we would be calling home for the next few days.

We had just washed the truck and trailer.  We hoped it wouldn't rain and blow, but it did.  Dirt campground made it more like camping anyway.

After we checked the town out we went for a drive up to the La Sal Mountains.  It is amazing how you can go from desert to high aspen and pine mountains in a matter of minutes.

It was a beautiful day.  Tomorrow... River rafting!

Viva Las Vegas!

Terrence and I had a great get away to Vegas.

Boys Day...

We went to the Caterpillar Show.

Girls Day...

We stayed at the Venetian (I loved all the replicas of Venice aka above- the Rialto Bridge)

(aka- the Vatican Museum)

One of my favorite places to grab something quick in Vegas is La Creperie at The Paris.

No trip to Vegas is complete without seeing the eye candy The Bellagio has created for each season-

We stopped by an empty pool at Caesar's Palace (still too cold for using)

 Looked around at H&M

and went to Phantom of the Opera (one of my FAVORITES).  Phantom was amazing.  I could see it over and over.   Terrence and I have tickets to take Kinsey and Kacey to see Les Miserables in SLC next month.  Can hardly wait!!!!

While the girls were on Spring Break from their colleges I went to lunch with them, their Grandma Savage, and Terrence.  It was quite the adventure...

Our Kitchen

Our kitchen is a place of constant activity.  It's where we do homework, crafts, entertaining, and sometimes even eat!  Its a good place to be if I really want to know what's going on with my kids.  All I have to do is go to the kitchen and something will be going on.
